Welcome to all who have come to visit!

I live in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma where we get lots of extreme weather. By extreme, I mean we can go from hot to cold to hot again all in one day. We can get tons of rain in a month & then go 4 months without a drop. And the winds here will blow up to 60 mph at times. A daylily has got to be a strong plant to survive.

Last time I counted, I was up to around 1500 registered daylilies & I haven’t counted my seedlings. I am a one woman operation, I do all the planting, digging, dividing, weeding, watering, picture taking, & shipping myself. I do not fertilize the daylilies & they are all field grown. If I make any mistakes in orders, just let me know & I will happily fix it. All my daylilies are guaranteed to bloom true to name. I can generally ship from April 1 - the end of June & September 1 - the end of October.

I have recently become very interested in butterflies and have started collecting nectar and host plants to help the butterfly population. In the future I will be adding pages of the different butterflies & moths that I spot on my land. Thanks to a friend here in town, my kids have already been able to enjoy the life cycles of a few.

My journey into the daylily world began in 2000 when we bought a house that sat on 3 acres. This property had a few trees planted on it & nothing else. I had always loved trying to grow things but wasn’t very good at it. So I began the hunt for landscaping ideas. While on a pond tour I saw the most beautiful flower & was told it was a daylily. I knew about the “ditch lily” but had never seen any other daylily before. My search for other daylilies led me to the Internet where I found thousands of daylilies along with many other plants I couldn’t purchase locally. Along the cyber journey I found websites, forums & auctions to my delight. I have met some of the most wonderful people along the way who have taught me what I know today about gardening & growing daylilies. The cyber world is wonderful & I don’t know what I would do without all my cyber friends!
